As society moves into a highly technical information age, the demands requiring students to possess greater competency in Mathematics are increasing. These demands make it essential to develop and master the basic mathematics skills necessary for meeting the challenges of the changing technology. The Chester County IU Non-Public School Services Mathematics Program at St. Joseph School places major emphasis on providing students with a positive environment that encourages them to achieve at their own level and to build confidence by being successful. With over thirty years of experience, Lu Ann Romanosky has provided services at St. Joseph School for over twenty years. Students in grades 1, 2, and 3 are pulled-out of their classes for extra mathematics sessions. In grades 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, the math specialist co-teaches with the classroom math teacher. Please, visit my website and program description pages. Chapter review worksheets for grades sixth thru eighth are also available. |
